Even though you're supposed to have Texas BBQ in TX, we couldn't help having some AYCE KBBQ. This was a great place to quench our hankerings. First off, they must have changed their name because outside they show Tofu House, a little confusing but still on theme. The selection of meats was pretty impressive. The upgraded menu is definitely worth it, our personal favorite was the marinated short rib... wow talk about tender but flavorful. It was delicious, must have had 3 plates of that alone. Everything else is as you would want. Good quality and very delicious. The staff were quick to return and checked on us often. Never felt like we were short on foods or drink. Oh and did I mention, kids under 6 free?! That was super surprising, since we have three... and while they do eat... they don't eat to AYCE levels. Great find, if a bit surprising to find such a solid place in TX (you'd expect this in SoCal!) Definitely recommended!

Love this place!!! Great service, super nice workers! And amazing delicious food. AYCE is worth it. After their remodel, the place looks great and so clean!

This isn't one of our all the time places, it's consistent when we do show up. This is an alternative to the Texas barbecue restaurant. Order your meat, get your sides, cook it yourself at your table to your own liking. A wide variety of beef, pork, chicken, and seafood. Eat what you want, ask for more when you need it, and enjoy the Soju and beer.

Stopped by around 1:00 on a Wednesday for their All You Can Eat Korean BBQ. We ordered almost every beef, pork and side dish options. Every staff member was friendly and offered to swap out the grill multiple times throughout the meal. Would definitely recommend this place. Don't forget to wear loose clothing and your meat sweats.

Never been here before and came for the first time during lunch today. Decided to try the buffet lunch which is priced at $33 per person for adults and $23 per kid ages 5-11. Price isn't that big of a deal for what you get. We tried a few different cuts and types of meat and honestly, all of it was really good. Pork belly never disappoints. Tried both the spicy and teriyaki and neither let my taste buds down. Tried the beef belly and honestly, it was a little fatty and lacked flavor. It literally just tasted like unseasoned beef. We got a serving of the garlic and pepper beef. It was good. Not too garlicky and not too peppery. I would have to say it was the perfect combination of both seasonings. Next up was the marinated pork shoulder and it was so savory and very well seasoned. I would most definitely get this again. We tried the beef bulgogi which was really good. Nice sweet and savory flavors that blend well together. And then last but not least, we also tried the spicy baby octopus. I have had my fair share of octopus but this was different. It was nice and spicy but not overly spicy. Very well seasoned and tasteful. All was completed with a few different Sake options. I tried the creamy sake, peach sake and sparkling sake. Of the three, my favorite was the sparkling. It was slightly sweet but not too sweet. Service was really nice. Seeing that this was our fist time here, our server made sure to explain how everything worked and what not. The restaurant its self was kinda dark on the inside. Makes for a nice romantic setting for a dinner date but not ideal for a lunch date. All in all, give this place a shot. You won't be disappointed.

Non-bbq review: Best dolsot bibimbap in the Austin area for me so far. All the other ones I've had have been enough to scratch the itch, but I actually quite enjoyed this one. The steamed egg is FANTASTIC. Perfectly salty and just sooo tasty. I do recommend eating it while it's still hot. It just ain't the same lukewarm or cold.

TLDR: Yum! Can't wait to go back soon, definitely think that this is way higher than a 3.5. --- This review is being written only 3.5 hours after returning home from Charm Korean BBQ and I really just had to write it. I have lived near-ish by for the last year and a half and always passed over this place due to the mid rating here on Yelp. Due to some logistical issues, my fiancé and I had to pivot our dinner plans and decided to give it a shot. And boy, I am so glad I did. Is it like, the top tier kbbq I've ever had? Well, I grew up in LA and lived in Koreatown for a few years, so no. But I'm giving it five stars because it's exactly what I expect out of a local kbbq. The meat was a decent quality, service was attentive, the roast corn was quite lovely, and the japchae is honestly my absolute favourite of all the japchae I've had over the years. My fiancé and I each got the "A" level of AYCE, and after three rounds of meat with plenty of sides, we were just full enough to be satisfied and not feel bloated. Our server was so sweet, grill changes were prompt, and I never ran out of drinks or rice. The ambiance felt really warm and friendly, like a neighbourhood spot. I genuinely do not understand how other people had negative experiences here -- not that I disbelieve them, or want to invalidate their experiences, but I didn't personally experience any of the things that were called out by lower rated reviews. Definitely intend to go back, basically about twice a month as my fiancé frequently travels to this area.
